Karyssa earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Bridgewater State University in 2016 and went on to complete her Master's Degree in Public Health from the University of New England in 2019. Her background in exercise science and public health allows her to help promote healthier lifestyles and educate the community about injury prevention, movement health, and performance training.
As ProForm's Community Outreach Coordinator, Karyssa enjoys getting out into the Salisbury, Newburyport, Amesbury, and North Shore communities to promote the mission of ProForm Physical Therapy and connect people with high-quality, one-on-one care.
In addition to her outreach work, Karyssa is currently working toward earning her personal training certification, further expanding her knowledge of fitness, strength training, and performance.
Outside of the clinic, Karyssa enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her cat, Potter. She and her husband frequently travel to his hometown in Vermont where they enjoy hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors.
