2022 Turkey Trek Is Here!!

ProForm Physical Therapy and Blanchette Financial Group Present the 2022 Turkey Trek!

The holidays are quickly approaching which means it is almost the beginning of the season of giving! 2022 has been a huge year for ProForm Physical Therapy, so what better way to keep the good things coming than by hosting a fundraising event for an incredible cause!

Basic Details!

When: Saturday November 19th from 9:00am-12:00pm
This is a Turkey "Trek", not a Turkey Trot! The difference between the two is that a Turkey Trot is traditionally a 5k walk/run but our Turkey Trek will consist of weighted carries! With 5 different ways to complete the carry, you are sure to test that grip strength all while making a donation to a great charity - Our Neighbors Table!
Minimum $5 donation to enter (you can obviously donate more if you would like!) We accept cash, credit/debit, check, and Venmo!

How Does it Work?

Once you made your donation, you will roll our inflatable dice to determine what you will carry; double arm kettlebell, double arm dumbbell, trapbar, banded kettlebell chaos, or kettlebell waddle (see video below). If you roll a "1" you are able to choose which carry you want to do!
From there, you will have to try and complete one lap around the cones (roughly 80 yards, or a little less than the length of a football field) without dropping your weight. If you complete the challenge, ProForm Physical Therapy and Blanchette Financial Group will match your entry fee! If you complete one lap but feel like you can keep going, go for another lap.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens if I drop the weight before finishing my lap? If you drop your weight before making it to the end, there will be no match but feel free to make another donation and try again!
Is there a specific weight I have to carry? Yes there is! There are different weights for men, women, and kids. These will be posted as we get closer.
Am I only allowed to go once? Nope! Feel free to go as many times as you would like! Each attempt is a $5 base donation but the more attempts, the more money donated to Our Neighbors Table!
Is it fun?! HECK YEAH! Fun for all ages!

What else?!

Although this event is scheduled for 9:00-12:00, feel free to show up at whatever time is convenient for you! Anyone is welcome and everyone can participate!
Remember, this event is going to be outside. If the weather calls for cooler temperatures, make sure to dress warm!
We will have hot coffee and hot chocolate for you to sip on while you're cheering on your peers!
We are located in the Tom's Discount plaza (175 Elm St. Salisbury) but we are in our own building which is pushed to the back right of the parking lot. There is a huge sign on the side of the building so you can't miss us! Our parking lot will be blocked off to allow for a safe Turkey Trek so feel free to utilize the entire plaza parking lot.
